The GIASCO VOLT leather safety shoes for electricians are ideal shoes for electricians who need protection from electric current and also want to wear breathable shoes for warm indoor areas or for summer. Their upper is made of suede leather, 1.8-2.0mm thick, combined with external 3D breathable fabric. Their tongue is soft and padded.

The GIASCO VOLT electrician safety shoes are metal-free, meaning they contain absolutely no metal. The protection they provide in the toe and sole, therefore, consists of a polymer safety material with 200J impact resistance, according to EN 12568. Furthermore, their design, given that they are low-cut shoes, makes them very light and suitable for long hours of work in environments that do not require ankle protection.

Regarding their sole, work shoes with the Hard Rock Dielectric sole, like the GIASCO VOLT electrician safety shoes, are the right shoes for those who generally work with electrical wires and are exposed to the risk of electric shock. Protection from electric shock is provided by these work shoes thanks to the rubber part of the sole which ensures complete protection from ground electrical discharges.

Thanks to these specific materials, this sole has obtained 3 important certifications for electrician shoes: the Canadian marking (C.S.A. Z195-14), the American (ASTM 2413-11) for electrical resistance of 20,000V for 1 minute, as well as the European for electrical resistance over 1000MΩ under certain conditions (no moisture).

The shoe's insole is insulating, comfortable, breathable, removable, and absorbent.

The breathable fabric of the GIASCO VOLT electrician safety shoes makes them ideal for summer. Please note, they are not waterproof. If you need waterproof electrician shoes, choose one of our models with the WRU or WR marking.

Issues to be aware of regarding electrician shoes:

• Simple antistatic work shoes or ESD shoes do not protect against electric shock. Electrician shoes must always be dielectric.
• Dielectric protection for electrician shoes applies to the sole, not the upper part of the shoe.
• Electrician shoes do not carry the S3 marking like classic safety shoes that are waterproof and provide penetration protection in the sole and toe protection. As a rule, their marking is broken down into their individual certifications.
