Microwash is an extremely breathable material, suitable for hospitals and the food industry in general, specially designed to provide comfort to people who wear work shoes on very wet surfaces for many hours. The finish of the material with breathable polyurethanes, which give a leather feel, guarantees complete breathability for the foot and complete resistance to acids, such as oleic acids. Specifically, this material has been laboratory tested in compliance with test method EN 13832-3:2018. These tests have proven its resistance to strong agents (for example: cleaners, acids) used in various sectors and applications such as food, horeca, etc. Especially in areas where employees' shoes get dirty often, such as restaurant kitchens, butcher shops, and supermarkets, GIASCO ARENDAL EVO S2 work shoes in black are an ideal choice.

Regarding their weight, microfibers are 40% lighter than natural leather. Furthermore, this material is washable at 40° with water and neutral soap - please note that Microwash shoes are not machine washable. The material contains no Chromium.

The interior of the shoes is made of a highly breathable material which is also very resistant to wear from friction. The tongue is soft and padded.

Their S2 certification indicates that they are waterproof and simultaneously provide toe protection. The toe protection is metal-free, meaning it consists of a polymer safety material with 200J impact, according to EN 12568.
