GIASCO NORDIC NEW S3 work shoes with Kube sole for increased anti-slip protection. Their upper is made of a unique combination of soft Nubuck leather 1.8-2.0mm thick with Idrotech technology, leather with anti-scratch protection (anti-scratch Zero Abrasion) 1.8-2.0mm thick in the toe and heel areas, as well as with external 3D fabric with Airnet technology.

Idrotech is Giasco's patented technology for special leather processing aimed at improving water resistance and breathability. This way, maximum comfort in all weather conditions and maximum protection from external factors are ensured. Furthermore, this specific processing method, thanks to the use of salts, softens the leather significantly and provides it with complete mechanical resistance to oils and hydrocarbons.

With Giasco's Zero Abrasion technology, we have an anti-scratch leather with a multi-layer polyurethane finish that ensures complete protection of the upper from abrasion (scratches). With high resistance to water and oils, this leather is suitable for people who always want to wear clean work shoes in good condition even after many months of use - especially in roles where they serve customers and the appearance of employees plays an important role.

Airnet is a certified technology that guarantees maximum breathability for the foot when wearing sturdy work shoes with abrasion resistance. Thanks to the air tunnels in its construction, it allows air passage, and its material, 100% polyester, guarantees perfect resistance to abrasion, tearing, and washing.

Furthermore, the GIASCO NORDIC NEW S3 work shoes provide anti-sand resistance.

Their interior is made of a highly breathable material with a lining, which is also very resistant to wear from friction. Their tongue is soft and padded.

Their S3 certification indicates that they are waterproof and simultaneously provide toe and sole protection. This protection is metal free, meaning it consists of a polymer safety material with 200J impact safety, according to EN 12568. Metal-free work shoes are generally preferred because they are simultaneously durable, lightweight, flexible, and comfortable.

Regarding their sole, to address the phenomenon of frequent accidents due to slipping, Giasco created a new type of sole, the Kube. The Kube includes small embossed cubes in its design. This design makes it ideal for floors with a lot of water/liquids and especially for those working on sloping surfaces like roofs (it has even received the corresponding certification UNI 11583:2015).

The sole on the GIASCO NORDIC NEW S3 work shoes is made of dual-density PU/PU polyurethane for increased durability, is antistatic and resistant to hydrolysis (ISO 5423:92) as well as oils and fuels. It provides heel shock absorption and has received SRC certification for the best possible anti-slip protection (two-parameter test).

The insole of the shoe (code 5000) consists of 3 materials for extra comfort and is breathable, removable, anatomical, absorbent, antistatic ESD, and antibacterial.
