GIASCO RUGBY S3 work shoes with Kube sole for increased anti-slip protection. Their upper is made of soft Nubuck WRU leather with Idrotech technology, 1.8-2.0mm thick, which is their special characteristic. Idrotech is Giasco's patented technology for a special leather treatment aimed at improving water resistance and breathability. This ensures maximum comfort in all weather conditions and maximum protection from external factors. Furthermore, this specific processing method, thanks to the use of salts, softens the leather considerably and provides complete mechanical resistance to oils and hydrocarbons.

Their interior is made of a highly breathable material with a lining, which is also very resistant to wear from friction. Their tongue is soft and padded.

Their S3 certification indicates that they are waterproof and simultaneously provide toe and sole protection. This protection is metal free, meaning it consists of a polymer safety material with 200J impact resistance, according to EN 12568. Metal-free work shoes are generally preferred because they are simultaneously durable, lightweight, flexible, and comfortable.

The GIASCO RUGBY S3 work shoes also include a High Visibility insert material, which makes them easily visible in low light conditions.

Regarding their sole, to address the phenomenon of frequent accidents due to slipping, Giasco created a new type of sole, the Kube. The Kube features small embossed cubes in its design. This design makes it ideal for floors with a lot of water/liquids and especially for those working on sloping surfaces like roofs (it has even received the corresponding certification UNI 11583:2015).

The sole is made of dual-density PU/PU polyurethane for increased durability, is antistatic and resistant to hydrolysis (ISO 5423:92) as well as oils and fuels. It provides heel shock absorption and is SRC certified for the best possible anti-slip protection (two-parameter test).

The shoe's insole (code 5000) consists of 3 materials for extra comfort and is breathable, removable, anatomical, absorbent, antistatic ESD, and antibacterial.
