GIASCO ERCOLANO S3 HI HRO work boots with Hardrock sole for insulation from cold and hot surfaces. Their upper is made of WRU leather 1.8-2.0mm thick and anti-scratch WRU leather in the heel area. They are ideal welder boots as they have an external 'tongue' that closes with velcro and is sewn with fire-resistant threads. Their interior is made of a highly breathable material with a lining, which is also very resistant to wear from friction. Their tongue is soft and padded.
Their S3 certification indicates that they are waterproof safety boots and simultaneously provide toe and sole protection. This protection is metal-free, meaning it consists of a polymer safety material with 200J impact safety, according to EN 12568. Metal-free work shoes are generally preferred because they are simultaneously durable, lightweight, flexible, and comfortable. Furthermore, their design, given that they are work boots, makes them suitable for long hours of work in environments that require ankle height protection.
They are certified with CI marking for cold protection down to -17°C, as well as with HRO for hot surfaces up to 300°C for contact with the sole. They also have HI certification (thermal insulation) for the entire sole. They also include a High Visibility insert material, which makes them easily visible in low light conditions.
The GIASCO ERCOLANO S3 HI HRO safety boots belong to the Hard Rock Antistatic series of Giasco. Boots with this sole are intended for extreme working conditions thanks to the rubber exterior of the sole. They are designed to provide maximum protection in the most difficult weather conditions (surfaces with temperatures from -30°C to 300°C) and maximum protection from cuts. Furthermore, the uppers are designed for the most difficult working conditions. For this reason, the materials incorporate the most advanced thermal insulating and hydrophobic technologies.
