The Eurotechnique 2631 flame-resistant welding gloves are classified as Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for hand protection. They are made from split calf leather, a material generally known for its good resistance to puncture and abrasion, softness, breathability, and dexterity for the user when used in flame-resistant gloves.
The Eurotechnique 2631 flame-resistant gloves are suitable for working in environments with high-temperature materials and are manufactured according to EN 388 (3.1.3.3), EN 420, and EN 407 (4.1.3.1.4.X) standards. They offer protection at $100^\\circ C$ for 31.4 seconds and at $250^\\circ C$ for 10.7 seconds.
These gloves are recommended for tasks requiring high thermal protection, such as electric welding and oxy-fuel welding (welding gloves). The leather gloves are produced according to the US pattern, meaning the top and bottom parts are single pieces, and only the middle and ring fingers are added and stitched.
