Organic cotton is an eco-friendly alternative material. Most of the watering (80%) of organic cotton fields comes from rain. No chemicals are used in organic cotton farming, therefore there is no water or soil pollution occuring. A further advantage is that the health of farmers is also protected.

An exciting story that begun on a small Greek island
The year was 1936
… and the place was the beautiful island of Syros. That is where our original spinning, weaving mill and dyehouse for fabrics were initially operating under the ‘EVAG. BARBETAS SA’ brand. From there to our current 4.000 sqm facilities in Athens, it has been a long and exciting journey.
